- Previously I worked at Coinbase building systems to mitigate fraud in the crypto space
- I'm looking for new opportunities! If you're recruiting or know of any openings, please take a look at some of my experiences below and let's connect!

work experience
Nasdaq Private Market
Software Engineer II
New York, NY03/2023 - present
I currently work at a Nasdaq Private Market, a fintech startup involved in private market secondaries. I work on one of the backend API pods, supporting our platform for secondary market trading. Recently we launched our new Employee Workstation, allowing us to interact with retail customers, so anyone with private company shares can sign up on our platform, onboard, and create an order onto SecondMarket.
I've done a lot of work building out our APIs as well integrating with third party APIs to create a seamless onboarding experience. Currently I'm working on a feature called Designated Match, which allows our account admins to delegate matches to their sub-accounts and sub-holdings.
Skills: Ruby on Rails, Postgres, Kubernetes
Coinbase
Software Engineer
New York, NY08/2022 - 01/2023
At Coinbase I was a backend engineer working on the Payments Risk Team. I worked extensively with our data scientists to develop ways of reducing fraud loss in our payments flow. This involved creating and tagging events in our Snowflake ETL pipeline for data collection as well as working with analysts to incorporate new parameters to support their models. In particular, I worked on a feature that which involved integrating with GIACT to block certain Plaid verified bank accounts which reduced fraud loss by $38k/month.

internships
Coinbase
Software Engineering Intern
San Francisco, CA05/2021 - 08/2021
I was on the Asset Hub team in the Ecosystem Org. I worked as a frontend intern creating an application to help our compliance team onboard new assets onto the platform. I also worked on creating new dashboards to help visualize issuer metrics.
Skills: React, Recharts, Typescript
Cameo
Software Engineering Intern
Chicago, IL05/2020 - 08/2020
I worked at Cameo as a software intern on the "Delight" team. On the Delight team we mainly focused on creating new features that allowed our app and website be more easily accessible as well as improve on UI. I mostly worked on the app, integrating in device orientation compatibility and tablet specific functionality that we didn't have before! As a lot of the older users on the app preferred to record Cameos using their tablet, adding in this functionality greatly improved their experience using the app.
Skills: TypeScript, React Native, React, Express, and MongoDB
Payette
Software Engineering Intern
Boston, MA05/2019 - 08/2019
This was my very first software internship and it definitely helped boost my interest in frontend development. I worked on a small team of two others to create tools for fellow architects on the team to use. The first tool we made was a "Building Assessment" tool that helped generate visuals to aid architects in determining a building’s grade/score by specifics such as categories and components. We created this tool from scratch and definitely learned a lot from this process.

projects
Cornell University Unmanned Air Systems (CUAir)
Autopilot Subteam Member
Ithaca, NY10/2018 - 12/2021
I joined CUAir in my first few months as a freshman. This is probably the most transformative thing to happen to me in my college years. We are a student run project team that creates autonomous aircrafts for search and rescue missions. I'm on the autopilot subteam where do a lot of path planning as well as groundstation maintaining. However, what is most special about this team is not the work; it is most definitely the people. Through this team, I've met some of my most closest friends as well gained a huge support system. Our slogan is "we make friends and sometimes planes"!
Pay With Way
Web Developer
Ithaca, NY05/2020 - 07/2020
In 2020 I also joined a small Cornell based startup whose mission was to help aid small restaurants near the Ithaca area with online ordering through the pandemic. I joined the Web Development team and worked with a team of 6 other students to help start off not only the online ordering interface but the merchant portal as well. This experience definitely gave me a lot of insight startup culture as well as students working for a cause they believed in. I also learned a lot about communication as well as decision making as this was one of the first times that I had very little guidance on how a product should be built.
